These dark chocolate covered cherries are hands down the best we have ever tasted. We’ve been anxiously awaiting the “Love Month” of February to share these with you and the ones you love. Joan Coukos of Chocolat Moderne crafts this 12-piece box of faceted gems with an artist’s touch and a gourmand’s palate. She uses big, tart and juicy Amarena cherries, a dark variety of cherry grown in the Bologna and Modena regions of Italy, and then bathes them in a vodka-infused syrup before she covers them in Valrhona covertures. She then dusts them with a luster of astral speckles as a final flourish.
