Oval
with deep green to gray green, bumpy skin. Ripe when slightly soft to
touch. Flesh is creamy white to yellow, and slightly grainy like a pear,
with tiny edible seeds. To eat, halve and scoop out flesh. Strongly scented
with flavor of pineapple, strawberry and mint. Native to South America.
Pronounced "fee-jo-ah".
