Aged Goat Cheese Tartine with Sautéed Shallots and Spicy Plum Chutney Recipe
  1. Cut goat cheese into thin wedges and set aside.

  2. Pour olive oil into medium-hot pan.

  3. Add sliced shallots and stir frequently until softened and golden brown.

  4. Spread chutney onto bread slice and arrange shallots on top of chutney.
  5. top with cheese wedges

  6. Place in broiler and check frequently. Ready when cheese is bubbly and browned in spots.

  7. Add pepper to taste (optional)
