Lily's Peace Cake was inspired by Lily, our sweet French Bulldog, and "peace" because the olive branch is a symbol of peace. The Peace Cake is made exclusively for us by Amy's Bread in NYC and is made with olive oil instead of butter and also contains almonds and hints of orange and lemon. Each cake comes with an olive leaf stencil, powered sugar and a sifter -- simply cut out the stencil with scissors, sprinkle powdered sugar over the top and voila! You will have a beautifully decorated cake!
A welcome treat for breakfast, snack or dessert. Serves 8.
