In 1943, Renee Schick, the widow of a rabbi with kids to support decided to share her passion for baking with her community in Brooklyn by opening Schick's Bakery. Over the past 75 years Schick’s has become famous for their stunning macaroons and since their dark chocolate dipped macaroons are strictly Kosher for Passover they make a great addition to a hostess gift!
