Apricot Ginger Pistachio Scone

Apricot Ginger Pistachio Scone from Sweetleaf Bakery $5.00

From the pastry chef at our local Sweetleaf Bakery and Café here in Long Island City, NY these apricot ginger pistachio scones are one of our absolute favorites. Uniting the robust flavors of fresh and crystallized ginger, dried apricots and pistachio nuts results in a distinctive sweet, spicy, nuttiness that is hard to forget for vegans and non-vegans alike. The substantial size makes them perfect to share at breakfast or afternoon tea. To maximize the release of flavors, re-heat before eating in low temperature oven for 7-10 minutes or microwave for 30 seconds.
