The Vermont Cheddar Basket features award-winning cheese from Shelburne Farms accompanied by apples, a cheese knife, and either organic whole wheat crackers or gluten-free sea salt crackers depending on the gift you choose. The centerpiece of this classic combination is a half-pound block of one-year aged cheddar that is rich and savory with a smooth to slightly crumbly texture. True "farmhouse" cheddar is handmade from milk produced by cows raised on a single farm. In this instance, the cows are 125 grass-fed Brown Swiss from Shelburne Farms in northern Vermont.
